IFFHS: The top 11 for 2024, dominated by Spain and Real Madrid

Real Madrid and Spain won the very important tournaments in 2024, its players dominante in ideal eleven

Spain won the Euro 2024 tournament in  Germany and was the very best national team  of 2024.

The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) in Greece is represented by the editor-in-chief of Discoveryfootball.com, Manos Staramopoulos ) has published the ideal eleven for 2024. It´s formation is in 4-3-3.


All the players belong to European teams and therefore compete in European championships. Epirus also dominates in terms of players: 8 of them are from Europe while the remaining three are from North and South America.

Also, in terms of nationalities, Spain is the most represented country with three players, followed by Germany with two and Canada, Argentina, Portugal, England and Brazil each have one.


The top 11 of 2024 consists of Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. In defense on the right is the Spaniard, Dani Carvajal, right stopper is the German, Antonio Rudiger. Left is the Portuguese, Ruben Dias and left is the Canadian, Alphonso Davies.
