Harry Kane with England in his way at Qatar 2022

England captain Harry Kane, who arrived with the rest of the delegation in Qatar on Tuesday (15/11), said the "three lions" are starting again with the aim of achieving something extremely great. He even emphasized that the England national team is in the right direction.

Four years on from their appearance at the FIFA World Cup in Russia, where England reached the semifinals, they are now again seen as one of the favorites for the 2022 tournament, even though they have not looked at their best in recent months.

"We have good performances in the big competitions, so there is only one last step to take and hopefully we can do it this time," the Tottenham forward, who led the Three Lions, told the BBC on his arrival in Qatar" in the Euro 2020 final last summer.

“It's exciting that we'll be playing in about five or six days. We all get excited. I'm happy to be here and I can't wait to get out in the training center tomorrow"

We are used to preparing for England games at short notice, but big tournaments are a bit different. But the mentality of the team is right.

We try not to think too far ahead, ie winning the tournament. It is certainly our dream and what we aim to pursue. It will be a difficult tournament, we have to prepare properly, but we are excited."

England are in Group 2 in Qatar 2022 and will face Iran, United States and Wales.
