The new era for Newcastle has begun

The large business fund from Saudi Arabia, owned by Prince Mohammed bin Salman was annuncied to begins of october 2021

Even with a three-year delay, Newcastle changed hands. The large business fund from Saudi Arabia, owned by Prince Mohammed bin Salman as of Monday (7/10/2021) has in its complete control the majority stake of the English team (for the amount of 353 million euros).

A once powerful force in English football which for 14 years under the ownership of Mike Ashley did not spend its best days. It was something between decay and incorruption. Remains in the big category or relegated? It was for years the almost daily question of her friends. But now things have changed and already the optimism that exists gives great joy to its fans.

Even the old international great center forward Alan Shearer who was born in the city of the same name and has honored her jersey playing for 10 years (scored 206 goals) broke out as soon as the acquisition of the club was announced: "It simply came to our notice then. There was no ambition, there was no hope for a title and this city with its world deserves much more".

In this city everything depends on the result of Newcastle. Citizens work hard all week to make their team happy on Saturday and that is why I understand the joy that prevails these hours. So now it seems that things are changing drastically for the "magpies" which we must not forget have to see or celebrate a title from the last century! Newcastle, which has won 4 championships, was in the period 1904 to 1910 (it also won a cup) and has since forgotten the color of success…

It was only in 1969 that she achieved an international success as she twice defeated  Újpest in the finals (3-0, 3-2) and won the Exhibition Cup (today's Europa League). So Newcastle, which this year completes (9/12) 128 years of life (!) Can dream again and even great. The presence of Amanda Stevelye (who will be the Executive Director), Mehrdad Godousi and His Excellency Yasir Al-Rumayyan (who will be the Non-Executive President of the club) gives another great strength to the magpies.

An investment group led by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), and also comprising PCP Capital Partners and RB Sports & Media (the “Investment Group”), has completed the acquisition of 100% of Newcastle United Limited and Newcastle United Football Club Limited (“Newcastle United” or the “Club”) from St. James Holdings Limited.

All requisite approvals have been obtained from the English Premier League and the acquisition was completed on 7 October 2021. The team of North England , with the beautiful stadium "St. James Park" with a capacity of 53,000 seats, has now entered a new era. The arrival of Mohammed bin Salman, one of the richest people on the planet, shows that he is aiming very high.

First of all, she came to an agreement and resolved a joint consensus with her coach Steve Bruce and various names are already circulating such as Brendan Rodgers, but it is likely that the Northern Irishman will continue in Leicester.

There are not a few who would like Antonio Conte but at the moment the Italian has not made any move. Instead, contact was made with Fabio Cannavaro, who is in London, as well as with the Spaniard, Roberto Martinez of the Belgian national team.

However, in order for something that does not appear on the horizon to leave, compensation must also be given to the football federation of the "red devils". Also among the names that are circulating are Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, the Dutchman, Eric Ten Haag, the Swiss, Lucien Favre and Zinedine Zidane, something that would be a great success if the French coach accepted.

The only thing that is certain is that this position is a big challenge for almost all coaches. As in addition to the money they may have at their disposal to manage they will have to create a team capable of the new season to play an important role. They do not say to star but to be definitely in the top 7…
