Jude Bellingham heads the list of the world's 100 footballers with the highest estimated transfer value, according to a new survey by CIES, the International Center for Sports Studies, located in Switzerland and created in 1995 as a joint venture between FIFA and the University of Neuchatel.
His owner team, Borussia Dortmund, could potentially earn up to €208.2 million by signing the 19-year-old England midfielder.
With Bellingham's contract expiring in
June 2025, this is probably the transfer window in which the Germans could make the most money.
Despite relatively short contracts running until June 2024, Kylian Mbappe (3rd) and Vinicius Junior (4th) are also in the top four (€190.7 and €190.5m respectively), just ahead of Premier League top scorer Erling Haaland (5th/€174.9 million).
Under contract until 2027, Manchester City's Norwegian forward's value is expected to rise in the coming months to match or even surpass that of the players ahead of him, including Manchester City team-mate Phil Foden (200 .5 million euros), which is currently second.
The highest estimated value for players outside the big-5 leagues was measured for Argentine world champion Enzo Fernandez (€80.3 million).
