Gonçalo Ramos new star of Portugal and Benfica

The new star of Benfica and of course the Portuguese national forward, Goncalo Ramos is a transfer target of Manchester United. The English team, which ended its partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo (by mutual consent), is eager to strengthen the line of fire, and its Dutch coach, Ten Haag, agrees.

The 21-year-old Goncalo Ramos, who played for the first time in the Portuguese national team and scored three goals in his third official match, is currently the most suitable as reported by the English press.

He made his debut before flying to Qatar against Nigeria and scored against Uzoho in a 4-0 win. The Benfica striker has scored 17 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions this season and as such is highly regarded as an up and coming striker. Just the hat trick in the 6-1 win over Portugal, apart from making him famous in the world football market, also skyrocketed his shares.

According to a report from 'A Bola', the Benfica forward has impressed Erik Ten Haag, with the Dutch coach telling the BBC that United are thoroughly considering the centre-forward.

Goncalo Ramos, has a contract with Benfica until June 2024 and a €120m release clause. The three goals he scored against Switzerland for the round of 16 of the World Cup attracted the interest of many major European clubs.

This season, the 21-year-old striker has played in 21 games with Benfica in all competitions, scoring 14 goals. He is fast, a craftsman and above all he plays for the team and not for himself, which is particularly important in our time.

Arsenal failed to maintain the euphoric atmosphere that existed after the imposing 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Their tank was almost... empty, stuck at 1-1 against Brentford, and now Mikel Arteta's team seems to be raising the white flag in the championship battle!. Now Arsenal is turning its attention exclusively to the Champions League, where after the 3-0 win, it seems to have a big lead to qualify for the semi-finals of the top club competition in Europe, if not the world.
