Everton international goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has been convinced and will continue his career with the English club. Pickford after the arrival of the new manager, Sean Dyche felt happy in the team again. So he signed a 4.5 year contract which will keep him at the English club until the summer of 2027.
Pickford, who has played more than 200 times for Everton since joining from Sunderland in 2017, was under contract until 2024.
The 28-year-old goalkeeper has 50 caps for England and was part of the squad that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar in November 2022.
"Last seasons were not what we wanted, but now we have a manager who I think will point us in the right direction," said Pickford.
“I just want to keep working hard and perform for Everton. We know we are in a difficult position at the moment in the league, but I am looking forward to helping the team improve this season and then aim for success in the future," he added.
Everton, who have taken six points from three games under new manager Sean Dyche, are 16th in the table.
