Football, like all children, is something that comes out of them. This is what happened with the Cameroonian, Romanian midfielder, Unirea Sloboda, Serges Yvan Ekollo Malolo, 25 years old (born August 20, 1998) in Yaoundé. He played football, or rather he started kicking a ball from the age of 5 and at some point he realized that he likes this sport very much and it suits him so that he can realize his dreams and help his family. He first played for the Dragons academies at the age of 14. He stayed there until he was 19 when he made the big decision to come to Europe. He went to Romania where he tells us in the interview he gave to Discoveryfootball.com, and Manos Staramopoulos.

"Then I decided that I wanted to come to Europe to try his luck, as I had made the decision to become a professional footballer. In 2017, I signed a 5-year contract with Astra Giurgiu . But I was loaned to the Israeli team, Bnei Yahuda. But during this time I could not find time to participate. I went back and went on loan again this time to Unirea Sloboda. There I managed to present my good self and earn a place in the starting eleven. Then I went for 1.5 years to Petrolul Ploesti and then again on loan for a year to Bizau. Finally I returned to Unirea Slobodan where they are playing now and he is very satisfied.."

DF: Now where is your team?

R/: At the moment we are playing in the playoffs and we are fighting for promotion. We will fight with all our strength to win the promotion to the big league.."

DF: Let's change the page and talk about the UEFA Champions League. How do you see it developing this year?

R/: "I think Manchester City and Bayern Munich are favorites again. Then we saw an amazing game at the Bernabeu between Real Madrid and Manchester City (3-3).

DF: Let's go to the 17th European Championship, what do you see happening there?

R/: "I consider France, England, Germany and Portugal as favorites to win the trophy."

DF: Let's also go to the Premier League, where the Romanian international Dragusin plays for Tottenham... What do you think of him?

R/: "Dragusin is a very good central defender and has all the elements to reach very high. Also in Romania now, I also like Olariou, who also has good data that will allow him to get a transfer abroad at some point."

DF: Finally, tell us which footballer is your role model and would you like to be like him?

R/: "Luka Modric is an amazing footballer,. A team by himself…”

Serge, we should mention that he also plays as a central midfielder, but he can compete in other midfield positions with success...

Serge, who learned within a year and speaks Romanian, spends his free time with friends relaxing and at the pool. He likes to cook Traditional Romanian food. Polenta with cream and cheese. As well as soups while he also likes mutton…
