The Saudis are preparing to drop a new "bomb" to get Salah

Manos Staramopoulos • 1 de diciembre de 2024

The Saudis who had made some moves since last year, now seem more determined than ever to claim with greater stubbornness and zeal his possible acquisition.

Mo Salah is a very great star of this Liverpool directed by Arne Slot.

Since Mohamed Salah went public and stated that Liverpool had not made him an offer for a new contract, the international Egyptian striker can start contacts with any team he wants as early as January. Thus, the Saudis, who had made some moves since last year, now seem more determined than ever to claim with greater stubbornness and zeal his possible acquisition. In fact, they seem willing to tempt him, to offer him a hegemonic contract, even bigger than that of the Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Liverpool, who lead the Premier League standings and have essentially secured their place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League, are considered more than certain to take the necessary steps soon, in the hope of convincing Salah to renew his contract, which expires in the summer of 2025.

However, in this case, their management will have to dig deep into their pockets because Salah will certainly not agree to sign his signature, most likely on his last contract with weekly earnings of not even 500 or 600,000 euros. And this is where the two sides may break off their "diplomatic relations". However, an important role will be played by the Dutch coach of the Reds, Arne Slot, who is reportedly determined to speak personally to his great Egyptian winger.

On the other hand, the Saudis are preparing to submit a new offer to Salah, which will even exceed the one they gave to the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, that is, more than 200 million euros per year!!!

So it is logical that everyone remains alert, expecting what and who will make the big move first...
