Federico Dimarco is a genuine Inter kid. After all, he was a fanatical fan of hers since he was a small child. How much more so now that he has realized many of his dreams and is a soccer player. Of course, he differs in many ways from several of his teammates as he does not particularly concern the media and his name is not widely circulated.
But in the Milan derby against the other great team of the Italian city of Milan, he proved again that he is
one of the best full-backs in Europe!
Dimarco scored another goal for the Nerazzurri and in 143 games for the club, he now has 15 goals and 23 assists. Participating in scoring 38 times with his team. And the way he will rush from his side to the attack and manage to find himself in a position to shoot, characterizes his game. And this makes him one of the faces of this particular time period in Italian football.
After all, not long ago in the Nations League games, he had scored one of the best goals of the first two matches of the UEFA competition with a terrific left volley after a magical partnership against the French. And he may have picked up muscle problems from those appearances that had more to do with fatigue, but he only missed the match against City in the UEFA Champions League and not the Milan derby.
That, may not have found him in the winner's position in his completion, after Gabbia, header in the 89th minute, but he became a hero again in the eyes of the Inter fans who every time see in his facial expression a "fighter", ready at all times to put his feet to the fire for the team.
The absolutely positive thing for Inter in Dimarco's case is that this kid is rarely absent due to injuries. In fact, even in the most recent incident, the 26-year-old full-back did not even think about missing the derby della Madonnina. Although medically he could have won a few more breaths. It was something that maybe even Simone Inzaghi wouldn't want to mention it to him and... risk facing his wrath.
The nerd world loves him. And not just for his competitive contribution, but because he is one of those footballers whose... mentality suits the fan.
When the passion of the stand is perceived on the face of a football player of the team, then new, beloved protagonists are automatically "born". And Dimarco is now reaching levels... Lautaro. As "fierce" is the Argentine - who even renewed his contract - the same applies to the Italian full back.
And together with Nicolo Barella, the international full-back has emerged, being the footballers on whom Inzaghi relies completely and who, together with the weight of the Nerazzurri jersey, hold on themselves in the obligations of the club all the hopes that the world places in them in each different test. So Inter can rightly expect even more from Dimarco, a true child of theirs...
