Rondovic Miljana, coach of FC

Her name is Miljana Rondovic. She is 25 years old. She studies at the School of Sports and Physical Education in Niksic. She has been playing football since she was 15 years old. You have loved this sport since you were little. She has always been more around boys, so she started playing with them as a child. When the club was founded in Pljevlja in 2013.

He knew this was the sport he would coach. Very quickly he became the club captain. He also played for the Montenegrin national team. He passed all the national team selections  from Under 18 to the First Team. In 2020 he attended seminars and successfully obtained the UEFA B football coaching license. In 2020, due to personal commitments, his footballing career ended. This did not stop her from always participating in club activities. In all the seminars, projects and activities of the association for many years.

This sport has given her many beautiful memories, she has traveled a lot, she has met people, other nations and customs. In the end I would like to say to all the girls who want to play football, do it, because it is a beautiful sport and will give you great experiences and great memories.

First off all, I would like to thank you for your questions and your interest in Women"s football in Montenegro. Here are my answers to your questions.

How many teams does women's football in Montenegro consist of?

R/: Over the years, the number of women"s teams in Montenegro has increased and decreased, and now the First League consists of only 6 teams, while the cadet League has 8 teams.

In each category, how many teams are promoted and how many are relegated?

R/: Due to the small number of clubs and the fact that there is only the First Women's League, there are no relegations, and the champion plays in the Champions League qualifications.

How many women are involved in this beautiful sport?

R/: There are about 350 registered female players of all ages in Montenegro.

You receive money and how much per month…

R/: ZFK Breznica is the only club in Montenegro that pays its players. Along with the salary, the club provides food and accommodation for all players who need it. We also provide scholarships for players who decide to enroll in the UDG faculty. Salaries are on average from 200 to 600e depending on the player.

Who is your club and who finances it?

R/: Football club Breznica was founded in 2013 by enthusiasts, former football players who wanted to gather young prospective athletes. The club finances its activities with the help of the Municipality of Pljevlja, sponsors and through domestic and international projects. In the course of its existence so far, the club actively participates in the affirmation of sports and healthy lifestyles for both men and women. We won the title 8 times and hosted the Champions League qualifying tournament 4 times.

What is the position of the women's national team in the general UEFA rankings?

R/: In the general UEFA ranking, our national team is positioned in 38th place out of a total of 47 national teams. Tell us something about yourself. Before you became a coach, I guess you would have been a player. Yes, I started training when the club was founded. I played for 6 years as a scentral defender and was the captain of the team. After that, I completed the seminars for the Uefa B license and became a coach at the club.

In general, we see that women's football is on the rise?

R/: The stereotype that women don't play football and that it's a sport for men is slowly falling apart... This sport is progressing year by year, but it also attracts audiences, so one of the most watched matches was precisely the work of female footballers. Breznica, as a club that was founded in 2013, met with a lot of amazement from the residents about the women's team, but through years of promotion, organizing international tournaments, participating in various projects, winning titles, we became a brand and the club is known not only in the whole Montenegro, but also in the Balkans. and wider.

Does the Football Association support the clubs as much as it can?

R/: The Football Association of Montenegro supports the football club Breznica minimally and only as much as it has to. We believe that we do not have the support of the association as much as the club deserves because we are still the best ambassadors of the city and the country.

Who do you think will win the Ballon d'Or this year, for women and men?

R/: In my opinion, the Golden Ball should go to Lionel Messi, who won the World Cup with Argentina and was declared the best player of the tournament. Playing for PSG, he won the championship title in France, and he also plays well in Inter Miami. I believe that the biggest threat to him is Erling Haaland, who has won the triple crown with Manchester City. I think Aitana Bonmati, who was declared the best soccer player in the world, will win the Golden Ball in the women's competition.

I guess you also watch men's football. Which football player stands out in your personal opinion

R/: As someone who played in defense, I always focus more on that type of players. I always followed men's football and watched the movement of the defense, but the attack did not interest me that much. Currently, the player that stands out to me is Josko Gvardiol from Croatia. I love watching his games, commanding the last line, great preparations and the talent he has. When I was younger, I also liked to watch Sergio Ramos.

Arsenal failed to maintain the euphoric atmosphere that existed after the imposing 3-0 win over Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals. Their tank was almost... empty, stuck at 1-1 against Brentford, and now Mikel Arteta's team seems to be raising the white flag in the championship battle!. Now Arsenal is turning its attention exclusively to the Champions League, where after the 3-0 win, it seems to have a big lead to qualify for the semi-finals of the top club competition in Europe, if not the world.
