Feyenoord manager Arne Slot, 45, in his final press conference as the Dutch club's bench leader, confirmed that he will be Liverpool's new manager in the new season.
Liverpool we all know have started with their new chief executive, Mike Edwards and are getting ready for the new era. A new era without Jurgen Klopp in its technical leadership. The German technician after 9 years (since October 2015) at the port will leave. Of course, during this time, the red armada conquered everything. Among others the Champions League, the FA Cup, and the coveted Premier League after 30 years.
Now the one who will take the reins is none other than
Arne Slot, who in turn confirmed that in the new season, that is to be more precise than the summer, he will be on the Liverpool bench.
The Dutch coach will leave Feyenoord after three years, with whom he won a league and a Dutch Cup. While you have also made very good runs in Europe with the Rotterdam team, having
reached the final of the UEFA Conference League in 2022 and the next year in the
semi-final of the UEFA Europa League.

"I can confirm that I will be at Liverpool next year," were the words of the 45-year-old at his last press conference as Feyenoord manager. The Dutch coach has signed his three-year contract with the "reds" and all that remains is his announcement on her behalf.
After Klopp's announcement in January, a number of managers were considered top contenders, but ultimately the position is taken by Slot who had agreed to compensation of up to 10 million euros for Feyenoord to receive.
"I can confirm that I will be coaching there next year," Slot said.
“Until now I didn't think that this would be the integration of my last fight, but it starts now. At the beginning of the week you think about training and things like that.
"But the feeling is getting stronger now. That's why I'm a little late now [for the press conference], because I wanted to say goodbye to some people personally and spend time with them, more than just shaking hands.
Slot, 45, signed a three-year deal last year after leading the Rotterdam-based club to the Eredivisie title. The former AZ Alkmaar manager turned down offers from Leeds United and Tottenham last summer to commit his future to Feyenoord.
Although nothing has been officially announced, there are reports that Slot plans to bring his assistant at Feyenoord, Sipke Hulshoff, whom he has known since 2022.
Hulshoff, 49, has been working alongside Slot at Feyenoord from 2022. Hulshoff has also been working as an assistant in the Netherlands alongside former Everton manager Ronald Koeman from January 2023.
"I understand that good results help, but it's really nice to feel that people really think it's a shame that I'm leaving."
